GAINSBOURG
Looking for Melody
More than ever, Gainsbourg exerts a fundamental aesthetic influence on artists from all backgrounds, an influence that transcends musical genres and borders. Through this concert, Les Apaches extend Gainsbourg's artistic approach, a man who became a true cultural icon thanks to his ability to defy conventions, anticipate trends, and champion stylistic fusion, all while drawing inspiration from classical music, the foundation of his artistic training.
He who didn't hesitate to borrow notes or words from great poets and composers, only to remix and reinvent everything, forged an artistic path that aspires to a reconciliation between the sophisticated and the popular. "One must be absolutely modern," wrote Rimbaud, and Gainsbourg sang it with conviction, and Les Apaches interpret it today with creativity and exhilaration!
