Become an Apaches Confidant!
As generative artificial intelligence spreads and the world grows massively standardized, live performance may well be changing in value. Could it be becoming a luxury? What once went without saying is becoming rare: the presence of bodies and physical dialogue, the unison between artists and audience, the long time of creation, the thrill of a performance that will happen only once. In a world that reproduces everything infinitely, the irreplaceable is quietly reclaiming its place.
We believe the years ahead will awaken a universal, irresistible need: the need to feel fully alive, to gather, to celebrate, to let human art move us, perhaps even (who knows?) overwhelm us. To support live performance today is to choose to defend what still connects us; it is to seek, tirelessly, to rekindle passion in the world around us.
Les Apaches are like no one else. We bring music, image, gesture and words into dialogue; we blend disciplines and universes; in every creation, we search for the point where rigor meets freedom. We explore music as the immediate reflection of our times, its excesses, its passions. A little over a century ago, a band of nonconformist artists led by Maurice Ravel gave themselves this name to celebrate boldness, friendship, and the refusal to be boxed in. We are their heirs, and we hold fast to these same values.
That is why we are not looking for donors. We are looking for Confidants, people who step into our confidence, who take part in the adventure. To the Accomplices of Les Apaches, we open everything: our creations in progress, our behind-the-scenes, our artists, our instincts, our doubts, and our projects to come. For them, with them, we create and imagine the future of artistic creation.
