Virtual reality experience
Scheduled at: Seine Musicale, Rennes Opera, Limoges Opera, Lille Opera
In 2021, Les Apaches created Le Coq Maurice, based on a news story that took place on the Île d'Oléron. Continuing this artistic and civic commitment, the project Ça vous dérange? (Does it bother you?) undertakes an on-site approach in the heart of French territories. Les Apaches decided to address this subject in a way that resonates with the concerns of our time.
The Apaches have taken the sounds of nature that disturb us and have been the subject of complaints (the rooster's crow, the ringing of bells, the croaking of frogs) and transformed them into a musical and visual work that transports the Apache musicians into natural environments. Wearing a virtual reality headset, the viewer/listener will be immersed in a day in the countryside, from dawn to deep night, and invited to listen to the world around us in a new way!
After its installation at the Adrien Dubouché National Museum in Limoges and at the Rennes Opera in June and July 2024, the experience continues its tour and sets up at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations for a day.
