For their Street Art show, Les Apaches! commissioned Fabien Cali to compose Niviana's Devil Drop . Its title is inspired by La Dame du Lac (The Lady of the Lake), a climbing sculpture by Pierre Szekely in Evry Courcouronnes, a legendary spot where parkour was born. This piece, like its composer, traces a completely personal path through musical genres. A live recording at the mythical Studio Ferber heralds the Les Apaches! collection from b•records, which, like the ensemble for which it is named, will attempt to build bridges between 20th-century creations and those of today.
